海や山から受けたインスピレーションをキャンバスに落とし込む画家。

自然が感じさせてくれる居場所や癒し、希望、そして時に見せる厳しさや毒々しさを個人の経験に基づくフィルターを通して、表現している。

10代で強迫性障害を発症、自己治癒を目指し心理学を志す。その後、山や海と出会い、傾倒していく中で、自然がもたらす心の解放感と無条件の自信を感じ、同時に障害が寛解していく。

30歳を目前に渡ったオーストラリアやニュージーランドでの生活の中でアートと出会い、絵が時と場所を超えて感動を与えることを体感する。

その旅中に自身も絵画製作を開始する

現在は絵画の制作展示を中心に、アパレル、雑貨デザインや壁画制作、ワークショップなど活動の幅を広げている。

Artist Biography

hi​​rosato is a Japanese painter whose work draws inspiration from the sea, mountains, and the wider natural world.

Through the filter of his own experiences, he explores the sense of belonging, healing, and hope that nature can offer, while also confronting its harsher and, at times, unsettlingly poisonous qualities.

After developing obsessive-compulsive disorder in his teenage years, he chose to study psychology in search of a path toward recovery. He later discovered the mountains and the sea and became increasingly immersed in nature. Through these experiences, he found a profound sense of emotional liberation, unconditional acceptance, and renewed trust in himself. Over time, his symptoms gradually went into remission.

Approaching the age of thirty, he moved abroad and spent time living and travelling in Australia and New Zealand. It was there that he encountered art more deeply and experienced first-hand how a painting could move people across different cultures, places, and moments in time.

He began creating his own paintings during these travels.

Today, his practice centres on painting and exhibitions, while also extending into apparel and product design, murals, logos, and creative workshops.
